We’re slowly trying to phase the word ‘adulting’ out of our vocabularies, but we all know that trying to get your shit together isn’t easy.
It doesn’t help when some or other ‘money-saving expert’ says that you should have twice your annual salary saved by the age of 35, and you’re still stoked when UberEats emails to say they’re waiving the R10 delivery fee for the weekend.
The struggle is real, and sometimes all you can do is laugh. Thankfully Huff Post compiled some of the best jokes taking the piss out of being a financially-prepared 35-year-old, and these are our favourites:
