If you want to know what terror feels like, drop a message meant for your significant other in the wrong WhatsApp group.
Just ask Margaret van Wyk (sjoe, remember that?), who shot to fame after sending a picture of her downstairs area to a hockey parents WhatsApp group, rather than her partner.
Compared to that, South African golfer Jared Harvey [up top] has got off lightly, although you can be sure his mates are going to give him a hard time about this voice note.
Apparently, it was meant for his partner, but instead it was sent to a golf WhatsApp group chat. Ready yourself for the cringe, with the voice note now uploaded on Cape Talk:
My Bok Boks.
We are happy you’re happy, Jared – love is a wonderful thing and you’re clearly swimming in it.
Suppose it makes a nice change from the Laurel / Yanny fiasco, too.
Now this one managed to make it all the way to India, where AB de Villiers is once again busy illustrating why he is the most talented cricketer on the planet.
Maybe he took his cue from that Brendan Venter interview a few years back, because it’s obvious that someone challenged him to use some of Jared’s new catchphrases during his post-match interview yesterday.
Pay attention, my bok boks, my special person – right up front:

And then again 40 seconds into this clip:
.@ABdeVilliers17 this interview is the best thing you have done in your cricket career. #myspecialperson #mybokboks pic.twitter.com/otnC2k8ZsJ

Someone, somewhere, owes AB de Villiers a beer.
