The apartments from Friends are iconic, though goodness knows how the characters were able to afford these places in the first place. Hell, we’d wonder how they would be able to buy them in real life.
Extravagant housing price guessing aside, the apartment set pieces are unforgettable, and thinking about them and the lovable group of characters who inhabited them might hit some in the nostalgic feels.
Luckily, some bright spark out there has set the feels rolling, says Mashable
Interior designer start-up Motsy has taken Monica’s, Rachel’s and Joey’s apartments, and reimagined them into what they would look like in 2018.
This here’s Monica’s apartment, which still has a purple accent door:
Rachel’s apartment is going for pink, plush velvet, and marble realness:
Finally, Joey’s apartment is going for what Modsy call an “Atomic Industrial” style (read: lots of grey going around), with a Hugsy-on-an-Eames chair in the corner to boot:
Thanks, Modsy. They still might not be affordable, but at least it was a worthwhile blast to the past.
