If you haven’t heard of – or from – American actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish, you have not lived.

Full of life, the breakout star of Girls Trip isn’t only hilarious, but is not afraid to say what she is thinking – which is probably what makes her hilarious.

Her latest hint-dropping interview, though, has sparked an inquisition like no other.

It all began in January when Haddish suggested, during an interview with Vulture, that “something went down” when she was at an after-party for a Jay-Z concert on December 22 and Beyoncé was there:

Okay, so what had happened was, something had went down with somebody at the party, right? I’m not at liberty to say what had went down at the party, but Beyoncé was just telling me to have a good time, and I was like, “No, I’m gonna end up fighting this bitch!” She was like, “No, have fun, Tiffany,” and I said, “I’m only going to have fun if you take a selfie with me.”

And so they took a selfie:

Clearly unable to hold it in, Haddish dished all when she recently spoke to GQ.

The story goes like this:

Last December, Haddish met Beyoncé Knowles-Carter at a party. Beyoncé walked up and said, “I’m Beyoncé”—the understatement of the century—and the two women had a brief, pleasant exchange. But that’s not the story.

“There was this actress there,” continues Haddish, keeping her voice low, “that’s just, like, doing the mostest.” One of the most things she did? “She bit Beyoncé in the face.”

“So Beyoncé stormed away,” Haddish says, “went up to Jay-Z, and was like, ‘Jay! Come here! This bitch—’ and snatched him. They went to the back of the room. I was like, ‘What just happened?’ And Beyoncé’s friend walked up and was like, ‘Can you believe this bitch just bit Beyoncé?’ ”

“And so then…,” she continues, “a lot of things happened.”

According to Haddish, she and the actress continued to cross paths throughout the night, culminating in a brief standoff. The actress, at one point, told Haddish to stop dancing, which—good luck making that happen.

“Near the end of the party,” says Haddish, describing her final run-in with Mrs. Carter sometime later, “Beyoncé’s at the bar, so I said to Beyoncé, ‘Did she really bite you?’ She was like, ‘Yeah.’ I was like, ‘She gonna get her ass beat tonight.’ She was like, ‘Tiffany, no. Don’t do that. That bitch is on drugs. She not even drunk. The bitch is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.’ ”

Throughout it all, Haddish refused to name the actress – and still does.

This only turned Twitter up full volume, so much so that Chrissy Teigan was forced to wade into the conversation:

I wonder who she first thought it was.

Vulture did their own investigations, but all assumptions have so far been denied, so that’s not even worth wading into.
