A few years ago, it was very fashionable to hate Andy Murray.
He was notoriously surly, enjoyed a good post-match whinge, and shied away from any media intrusions into his private life.
Still a much better bloke than David Warner, but let’s just say he wasn’t popular.
Then Andy won Wimbledon, wept on live telly and showed his human side, and the tide began to turn. That being said, when you burst into his hotel room at midnight with a group of cameramen in tow, he’s still going to fire off a few expletives.
Every parents’ favourite comedian, Michael McIntyre, is the man with the mic in hand, and to his credit Andy plays ball:
