If you’re not yet excited about Five Fingers for Marseilles, then you’re doing it all wrong.
The movie promises to be one of the most exciting, truly homegrown productions in recent memory, and has already garnered much international attention.
This proudly South African production had its world premiere at last year’s Toronto Film Festival, was selected for the BFI Film Festival in London, and has been described as a ‘must see masterwork’, ‘visually stunning’ and ‘captivating’, so it’s one you don’t want to miss.
Spoiler alert – you don’t have to miss it, because we are giving our Jozi readers the chance to win FREE TICKETS, POPCORN AND A DRINK at an exclusive preview screening at Killarney Cine Centre, Killarney Mall.
The screening takes place ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 28, AND THE MOVIE STARTS AT 8PM.

This highly anticipated film has local director Michael Matthews at the helm. Directing technically complex productions under pressure has earned Michael a reputation for executing ambitious projects, and he has a strong focus on emotive, visual storytelling.
Michael stopped by the 2oceansvibe Radio studios for a chat, and offered some incredible insight into how this concept developed and how the crew pulled it off.
Local is lekker:
Nothing like picking the brain of the director to get you really amped.
We may as well pop the trailer here, in case you’re playing catch up:
