The story of the Mancoba Seven Angels Ministry is one that has continued to garner attention, their police station mass murder eventually leading to the cult leaders being arrested.
Plenty has been said about how they were allowed to operate with impunity for so long, especially when you consider that authorities were consistently warned about what they were up to, but if you’re keen to really sink your teeth into this one then this short doccie should do the trick.
News24 have just released Angels of Death, and it offers some insight into what led us to the current situation.
Here’s their write-up:
News24 sent a team of journalists to Ngcobo in the wake of deadly shootings between police and members of a confirmed cult. The team spoke to the cult leaders, families of victims, law enforcement and cult experts to piece together a story of brainwashing, vulnerability and violence.
They also have an entire website dedicated to the story, which you can see here.
