It’s been a while since we heard from the Royals, and while Meghan and Kate looked dashing at the Commonwealth Day church service at Westminster Abbey on Monday, we aren’t too fazed about their headlining fashion choices.
Rather, it’s Prince George’s job of choice that we’re interested in.
While honouring the winners of the Metropolitan Police’s seventh annual Met Excellence Awards, William, George’s pops, revealed that his son is “obsessed” with the police force, reports TIME:
After PC Jayne Richardson joked that the Kensington and Chelsea district was looking for more volunteers if George or Princess Charlotte—William’s second child with wife Kate Middleton—were interested, the Duke revealed that George would probably leap at the opportunity.
“He is obsessed, actually, by the police….cars, toys, everything,” William said.
I do wonder if he was just being polite in saying that.
Unfortunately, him being a prince and all – one that might even become the King of England one day, as he is currently third in line behind his grandfather and father – it might not become a reality.
Unless, of course, the peasants take up their pitchforks and revolt against the outdated concept that is a monarchy.
But at least the little guy can dream.
Oh, and the Kate-and-Meghan appearance that turned heads? Below:
Dashing indeed.
