The drive along the coastal road past Llandudno is generally pretty easy on the eye, but if you happened to be winding your way somewhere yesterday morning you may have seen these guys doing their thing.
If you didn’t? Well, you’re in luck – Justin Sullivan, known mostly for his fire photography and videography, managed to film some wonderful drone footage of two whales in action.
Here’s what he had to say when posting the video to his Facebook page:
A beautiful greeting from the deep blue this morning off the coast of Llandudno, Cape Town. Thought I would take a brief moment away from wildfires and post something a bit more heart warming.
Not a bad birds-eye view:
Makes you want a buy a drone, and considering you can snap one up for R1 799, why the hell not?
As mentioned earlier, Sullivan usually focuses on wildfires, and is currently involved in Walking with Fire: A Wildfire Documentary.
Via that Facebook page, here is a tribute to the three local firefighters who have lost their lives this year:
A timely reminder of how much these firefighters risk every time they battle a blaze.
