Some might call Cyril a rebound, because we only just broke up with JZ late last night, but it’s a change that most South Africans have been in favour of for quite some time.
He is due to be sworn in as the new president of the Republic today, last minute drama aside, with Parliament receiving Zuma’s letter of resignation shortly after 11AM.

According to a statement released by the Presidency, president-elect Cyril Ramaphosa will be sworn-in by Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng at 5PM, following his election by the National Assembly.
