Along with his wife and dog, a Bulgarian man facing charges relating to a credit card fraud syndicate was murdered at his Bergvliet home.
The alarm was raised when neither of them arrived to pick up their six-year-old daughter from aftercare on Monday afternoon.
Upon investigation, police found Angelo Dimov and his second wife‚ Nessie Peeva [above], with gunshot wounds to their heads, murdered ‘execution style’. Laptops and cellphones had also been stolen, reports Times LIVE:
Dimov was fighting charges relating to credit card fraud in the commercial crimes court in Bellville and was being represented by Cape Town lawyer William Booth.
Booth said he did not want to comment on the incident as it was a police investigation but he said they were trying to help the couple’s six-year-old daughter.

Apparently, Dimov’s 27-year-old son from his first marriage was staying in a cottage in the couple’s garden:
He was seriously injured in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident last December and spent time in a coma before going to Bulgaria to recuperate. He only recently returned to South Africa.
But this is where things get really interesting: another source said that last year December, “Angelo’s business partner‚ who lived in Tokai‚ had an armed robbery at his house”‚ and has since been raising the walls and putting in bulletproof glass:
The source said acquaintances of the family‚ who were suspicious about Dimov’s business activities‚ believed there may be a link between the robbery and the executions.
They must have really, really, pissed off the wrong people. That poor six-year-old kid left behind…
