What do Isabel Terblanche, Gerda van Tonder and Daleen van Pletzen have in common?
If you happened to watch kykNET’s Mooimaak, met Clare Wiese Wentzel towards the end of last year, you might recognise those three names; along with 10 other participants, they were transformed into a better version of themselves.
They did so with the help of Clare, and the professional assistance of a group of Cape Town-based Renewal Institute Doctors and therapists.
Before we get into that, here’s Clare appearing on kykNET’s Flits:
I hope your Afrikaans is better than mine.
The results of those makeovers we mentioned above were incredible, and gave viewers the opportunity to become aware of the various procedure and treatment options available to safely and successfully transform yourself.
Upon realising audiences wanted more, Renewal Institute has shared an in-depth look at each transformation process by publishing never-before-seen footage of selected treatments.
But this isn’t one of those E!-produced transformation shows like Extreme Makeover. Rather, Mooimaak has a lot more authenticity, and shows just how dedicated the Renewal Institute is to the process and, more importantly, the patient, too.
Take Isabel, for example:
Isabel’s Mooimaak transformation was led by Dr Rulene Maré, with additional treatments performed by therapist Lizanne Burton, over a course of 9 weeks. The main focus was improving pigmentation and restoring lost volume. Years of sun exposure, the natural ageing processes and dramatic weight loss were the main contributing factors to Isabel’s concerns.
Following a diagnosis, the treatments performed included:
Through winter last year – the time during which the participants received their treatments – Isabel’s before and after transformation looked something like this:
Pretty amazing, hey? Below is a glimpse at Isabel 3D facelift treatment:
All in all, the Mooimaak journey proved a great success, and gave these ladies a new lease on life, new confidence and healthy, radiant skin.
To view more info on each patient’s transformation, Renewal Institute has allocated each one their own page. It features different behind-the-scenes videos, which are a great educational tool and way for the public to hear and learn in detail what the various non-surgical solutions are that they offer.
Have a look around, and, if you feel like you want some work done, Renewal Institute will help you out.
