Vegans are generally better people than the rest of us.
Why? Because we know how destructive the meat industry is to the environment, and our bodies, and the animals themselves, but we eat that shizz anyway.
We’re all bad people, and the vegans aren’t gonna let us forget it.
You know what they are pretty kak at, though? Taking a joke, because every time someone pokes fun on social media they become very touched on their studios.
Case in point is the latest uproar surrounding Gordon Ramsay. We should start with this tweet, from @yungqueer, asking what Gordon thought of her vegan lasagna:
It looks nice and I would eat it, but that’s not Gordon’s style. If you follow him on Twitter you’ll know that his snarky responses to these tweets have become a calling card – some recent responses:
Again:
It’s what he does.
His response to that vegan lasagna, though, has proven rather divisive:
Cue PETA wading in:
And those who are touched on their studios:
Look, Gordon does like to poke fun at vegans. Back in 2016, he pissed off non-meat eaters when he was asked what kind of food he’s allergic to. He responded, “Vegans”.
There was a backlash to that one, too, but why the sense of humour failure? You’re not going to convert us via social media mudslinging matches.
Can’t y’all just rest easy safe in the knowledge that you’re morally superior to the rest of us?
