We’re pretty stoked with the fact that we work in the heart of Cape Town’s CBD, right in the belly of the beast.
It makes it easier for Seth to zip around to meetings, although most of those take place downstairs at Cafe du Cap, and it means there’s always a buzz around the office.
We’ve told you before about how our office space is way, way ahead of the curve (and why you’d be silly not to join the party), but now things are going to the next level.
The 8th level, or 8th floor to be more precise. Cartel House have just announced that they’re launching a boutique hotel in the heart of the city, with six boutique hotel rooms individually designed with deluxe en-suite facilities.
A collaboration with Inner City Ideas Cartel, this boutique hotel promises to deliver exceptional level of service. Hotel guests will be able to not only sleep but meet, eat, work, play, drink and work out all through the mobile app.
Each room will have its own iPad with the Cartel House mobile app where guests can order drinks, food, housekeeping, tailoring or simply a haircut from their partner barbershop – Blokes Hair
Guests staying at The Cartel House will also have access to the members-only rooftop pool, where guests can order through the mobile app and receive their order through the dumbwaiter.
Have you ever been to a hotel where a dumbwaiter is installed right in the room? Nah, me neither.
The ground floor – the entrance to the hotel – will allow guests to check in and be welcomed with a big smile from Richard, who is the new front of house.
Susan, the appointed general manager, will make sure you are looked after the moment you walk into Cartel House.
She said:
Hotel rooms are fitted out in custom made bespoke furniture with interiors of old world sophistication and contemporary design, with incredible city views including Table Mountain and Signal Hill.
The hotel will offer superior levels of service, creating guest experiences through daily attention to detail.
The boutique hotel is still under construction, but these are the kind of views we’re talking about:
Told you it was in the heart of the city.
The boutique hotel will be open to the public, but as a Cartel House member, you receive a discounted rate.
Amongst the hundreds of other perks, of course.
Also a reminder for those of you who need a boardroom or meeting room to impress – you can book the facilities at the Cartel House, even if you’re not a member.
Take a look at those options and what they come with HERE.
Big deals deserve fancy boardrooms – fact.
