Keen on winning a lifestyle?
Instead of forking out R3,4 billion for that unimpressively grandiose Bel Air mansion, why not buy a £10 Millionaire Mansion raffle ticket and see what happens when the random draw takes place next year November?
You could end up owning a 1990s Devon-based detached house on a property that features a “sweeping driveway, 10 acres of immaculately landscaped grounds, 3-hole golfing greens, a separate leisure complex and a self-contained apartment with its own garden”.
There are a few requirements before you take the plunge, however.
First off, you need to be a permanent resident of either England, Wales or Scotland – or at least have a friend who is one and can buy a ticket on your behalf.
Once you’ve got those minor details sorted, pop over here and answer a multiple choice question to be entered into the draw.
It might be a bit of effort, sure, but if you’ve been looking for a reason to escape, this might be it.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, the answer is yes, the house is so quintessentially British:
Once announced, the winner will be able to unpack their bags and immediately enjoy the luxury: Your Rolls Royce will be in the driveway, the bar and wine cellar will be fully stocked, indoor pool heated, and the grounds mowed and ready for you.
Not only that, but all the bills and staff on hand will be paid in full for a year and you will get £50 000 (R907 000) cash. Although the interior decor leaves something to be desired, that pocket money should cover some basic redesigns, surely?
Tickets are just £10 (R180) each, and are limited to 10 000 per person.
Oh, and if less than 500 000 tickets are sold then the winner will receive a cash prize of at least £100 000 (R1,8 million) as an alternative. At least you don’t have a massive house to deal with then.
Keen? Pop over here and try your luck.
