A two-year-old kid wasn’t too happy that someone was attempting to get into a physical brawl with his sister, so he decided to do something about it.
And of course it was all caught on camera.
The moment occurred as sister Ruby’s competitive wrestling match against Ryan Prendergast began at an elementary school meet in Columbia City, Indiana, with the toddler beelining for Prendergast and pushing him over.
The most adorable instance of bravery and misunderstanding, so thankfully everyone took the situation lightly and the referee took to separating the trio:
It was the opponent’s mother, Tori Prendergast, who shared the footage on Facebook, explaining that:
“I was working and missed the match, but when I got home he showed me the video and I knew we had to share it,” Prendergast told HuffPost on Wednesday.
“It was so cute. The whole place was cracking up when it happened,” she added. “I only have boys, but if I had a daughter, I hope they would protect their sister like that.”
Bless.
