Yes, every day you’re going to be confronted by lists that sum up what’s gone down in 2017.

I know you’re internet savvy, and you probably think this list is going to be a stroll down memory lane, but some of these come from way out of left field.

CNN have covered the top viral videos of the year list, and number one is a man singing in an oyster costume.

We’ll give a little context before we show you that:

The masked performer was a contestant on Thailand’s aptly named singing competition show “The Mask Singer.” The man in the mask sings “Until We Will Become Dust,” which starts out as a ballad and eventually breaks into a rap.

The video has more than 182 million views on YouTube.

Still better than most of the performers on Idols SA.

If you’re a method man you might want to know that YouTube determined its top trending videos based on time spent watching, sharing, commenting, liking and a few other metrics.

Coming in at number two was Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You”, which we’re going to skip right over, because number three is quite something.

Four – this 12-year-old singing ventriloquist’s amazing performance on America’s Got Talent.
