Remember those comments last year suggesting / hoping / praying that 2017 was going to be better?
Yeah, well, it didn’t take long for everyone to realise that wasn’t going to happen.
It all began with the swearing in of Donald Trump as the President of the USA, and from there it was a downward spiral of chaos.
Although the almighty America might play a role in influencing the rest of the world, what with the increase in clashes between nationalists and protesters ,as well as ongoing struggles against extremists across the globe, there were some events out of its control.
Those included the likes of the enormous Rohingya refugee crisis in Myanmar and Bangladesh, and the devastating effects of hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria.
