For about an hour, staff at UK’s largest commercial television broadcaster were in hysterics.
Their boss had become trapped in a glass lift that wouldn’t stop going up and down.
Imagine the horror.
The hilarious footage of ITV’s programme editor Mike Rigby was captured by their political correspondent Paul Brand, who shared it via Twitter, hysterical laughing and all.

That doesn’t look very fun for poor Rigby, now does it? In an attempt to keep the morale high, Brand continued to live-tweet the ordeal:
