If you haven’t flipped a Monopoly board over in anger, or lashed out at a family member or friend during ‘Charades’, have you actually lived?
Most people have a story about a game night gone wrong, but I’m betting yours isn’t as spicy as the new Jason Bateman / Rachel McAdams movie.
The aptly named Game Night tells the story of a murder mystery party that takes a wrong turn, complete with some proper baddies and a whole lot of drama.
It looks like there are some laughs along the way, too, which is always welcomed.
Empire with this:
…as the six uber-competitive gamers set out to solve the case and win, they begin to discover that neither this “game” – nor Brooks [(Kyle Chandler] – are what they seem to be. Over the course of one chaotic night, the friends find themselves increasingly in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn. With no rules, no points, and no idea who all the players are, this could turn out to be the most fun they’ve ever had… or game over.
Alright, Jason, what you got for us?
Might be worth a spin.
One thing is for sure, it ain’t no Ozark.
