Donald Trump won, as his supporters remind the rest of Twitter every day, but apparently they won’t rest peacefully until Hillary Clinton is locked up.

So, what angle is the latest round of  ‘LOCK HER UP’ outrage coming from? Well, this one is a real treat.

It starts with Pizzagate, the conspiracy that went viral during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, and we should probably touch on that before we go any further.

Pizzagate, in case you’ve forgotten, was a conspiracy theory that [implicated] Clinton in a child sex ring based out of a Washington, D.C. pizza restaurant. The completely false claims were seized upon by right-wing media outlets and ended up having real-world consequences.

The restaurant’s staff were subjected to an array of threats and eventually a man fired shots into the restaurant under the belief, he claimed, that child sex slaves were being held prisoner inside.

You can thank the likes of Infowars, Breitbart and Fox ‘News’ for that one.

But now the conspiracy nuts have upped the ante, using the hashtag #FollowTheWhiteRabbit to gather up the crazies.

We mean crazies:

Err, OK. But back to Hillary and Barack:

[It] takes Pizzagate and runs with it in new, even bizarre, directions. Among them is that Clinton, her daughter Chelsea and Senator John McCain are among leading figures secretly wearing ankle bracelets after having already been indicted.

In the minds of those who adhere to the theory, everything is seen as further supporting evidence. Take former President Barack Obama’s recent performance of jury duty, for example. To believers, it was merely the explanation given for him traveling to Chicago to get his own ankle monitor fitted.

Yup, they’ve all been indicted but it’s been covered up by the mainstream media and the libtards and the lefties and George Soros and…

Remember when Trump took a double-handed sip of his water and everyone laughed at him (HERE)? That was a signal too:

Peeps really need to be getting out of their parents’ basements more often.

Look, Hillary has a laundry list of dirty dealings that deserve to be probed, and we know that Bill has his own sins to answer for (it wasn’t just a BJ in the Oval Office), but loonies running amok on social media with stuff like this can only end badly.

We laugh, but then another person grabs a gun a la Pizzagate and there are real-world consequences.
