If ever there was a couple that illustrated just how farcical the Trump reign has become, it’s US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and his White Saviour wife Louise Linton.

Linton has been the subject of much ridicule ever since she wrote that truly awful pile of words masquerading as a book back in 2016, and hitching a ride on the Trump train hasn’t reduced the spotlight.

Not that she minds, using her Instagram account to show off her lavish lifestyle and lash out at critics.

So what’s the latest? Well, a collection of photos so good they’re almost beyond parody. Here’s CNN:

Linton and Mnuchin posed with sheets of new $1 bills on Wednesday at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington, D.C. The notes are the first to feature Mnuchin’s signature, along with that of U.S. Treasurer Jovita Carranza, and are expected to enter circulation in December.

Of course social media had all the jokes about the wealthy couple’s photo shoot. Prior to joining Team Trump, Mnuchin worked in finance, with stints as a Goldman Sachs banker and Hollywood movie producer, and apparently Linton is an actress.
