Damn, son, the pope is about to make some fast cash.
In light of Pope Francis’s annual auction, Lamborghini donated a rear-wheel drive Huracan to the cause. The money raised will go to charities that help victims of human trafficking, vulnerable women and children on the African continent, and Christians suffering persecution in Iraq.
The Huracan was painted to match Francis’s garments, and the Pope posed for photographs as he blessed it and signed ‘Francesco’ on its hood:
Presented outside his residence at the Saint Martha Guesthouse on Wednesday, prices for the 573hp Lamborghini start around $200 000 (R2,8 million), but from previous auctions, we know the winning bid should be much higher than that.
