Poor ‘ol Coenie, who just can’t seem to catch a break.

The Bok prop was injured after just a minute on Saturday, which some might consider merciful, and it was obvious that he was in serious pain.

Given that the on-field medics have a pretty clear mandate job-wise, someone might want to have a word with the chap who yanks his bag out from under Coenie’s foot.

According to the Citizen, Springbok management have confirmed Oosthuizen “sustained medial collateral and anterior cruciate ligament damage which will require surgery and an extended period of time of out of the game”.
