There were a few people, with the help of the pineapple emoji, who made sure that the tropical fruit was everywhere.
Well, it seems that pineapples didn’t get enough time in the sun, and thus they are out to replace the traditional Christmas tree this year.
And we wonder why the older generations are adamant that Millennials are ruining everything.
Although the trend started a few years ago, and gained some momentum last year, it’s predicted that 2017 will be the year the pineapple will shine as searches for “pineapple Christmas trees” have increased on Pinterest.
