Can’t we all just get along?
The security company that once kept Mariah Carey safe has now threatened to sue her after she allegedly humiliated her former bodyguard, Michael Anello, by “referring to him as a Nazi, skinhead, KKK member and white supremacist”, reports TMZ:
Anello’s lawyer has prepared a draft of a lawsuit, claiming his company worked for Mariah from June 2015 to May 2017 and got stiffed on the balance to the tune of $221,329.51. Anello claims he was promised another 2 years which would add $511,000 to the tab.
Anello also said that Mariah wanted to be surrounded with black guys, not white people.
This is Anello on the job last year:
What else is in the document? Daily Beast explains:
The draft lawsuit also makes allegations of sexual harassment, claiming Carey performed “sexual acts with the intent that they be viewed by Anello.”
Anello claims that during a trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Mariah asked him to come to her room to move some luggage; when he got there, she was allegedly wearing a see-through negligee that was open.
The buff man says he left the room despite Mariah insisting that he stay and move the luggage.
Mariah’s people told TMZ that they’ve been in touch (see what we did there?) with Anello’s lawyer and have agreed to pay some of the invoices, but Anello wants more.
The lawsuit is currently on hold as both parties try to settle things with some good old negotiations.
Oh, and:
Mariah’s people have no information on the sexual-harassment claim.
A hug probably won’t be appropriate.
