The only constant is change, right? Especially when it comes to Love.
Sean Combs, P. Diddy, Puff Daddy, Puffy – whatever you want to call him – last changed his name in 2014, a staggering three years ago.
This time, however, the announcement of his new name was via a selfie video on his 48th birthday and he is quite adamant it’s the only one you should use from now:
I decided to change my name again!
My new name is LOVE aka Brother Love. #TakeDat pic.twitter.com/gArAXusygG

Don’t call him anything else, ok? Especially not in an emergency, because he won’t respond:
“I will not be answering to Puffy, Diddy, Puff Daddy, or any of my other monikers but Love or Brother Love, OK? It’s my birthday, I feel good.”
The one thing that hasn’t changed is his success. Time reminded us of that:
Brother Love, as he is henceforth known, has had a great year: he was named the highest earning celebrity of 2017 on the annual Forbes list, thanks to business ventures like the Ciroc brand vodka, Sean John fashion line and his record label, Bad Boy.
But not everyone is on board with his new name. Specifically, wrestling personality Bruce Prichard — who has called himself Brother Love since 1988 — does not seem amused.
This was his take-down:
But wrestlers kind of make a living from overreacting…
One love, Brother Love.
