Henri van Breda has once again taken the witness stand at the Western Cape High Court, making it the third day in a row.
Yesterday, on his 23rd birthday, he was “handed a replica of the axe, used to bludgeon his family to death, to demonstrate the blows that killed his father and brother two years ago,” reports News24:
The accused showed Judge Siraj Desai the movements that the alleged attacker made as his brother Rudi lay asleep in his bed and his father Martin attempted to intervene.
The demonstration continues today.
Taking the stand for the first time on Tuesday, van Breda has maintained his innocence, sticking to his claim that an intruder is to blame for the murders of his parents and brother, as well as attempting to kill his sister in their family home in 2015.
