Around a month ago the first trailer for the BBC’s Blue Planet II series arrived, and of course we wrote about that HERE.
It’s safe to say the office was pretty excited, and now there’s more footage for us to ogle.
You just know that a BBC / David Attenborough project is going to produce the goods, and an original score from legendary composer Hans Zimmer is only going to make things more dramatic.
Here’s the latest trailer:
If you’re wondering where that picture of the fish trying to chomp on a bird comes from fear not. The Daily Mail have seen some footage not included in the trailer above and we’re in for a treat:
Crews filming the BBC’s new natural history series Blue Planet II were told that giant trevally fish had been seen hunting seabirds off the coast of the Seychelles.
What they found, and filmed, might prove to be the stand-out moment of the series, which begins next Sunday night.
The dramatic hunting sequence will captivate viewers and is likely to draw comparisons to the award-winning snakes versus iguanas scene from Planet Earth II last year.
I won’t ruin it for you by telling you how that one ends.
Mark down October 29 in your calendar, because that’s when the first episode airs over in the UK.
To hold you over here’s the iconic clip of a great white shark breach from Planet Earth back in the day:
