Statue controversy is something South Africans are well versed in, and it looks like America is just waking up to that big debate.
In the wake of Charlottesville, and all that Nazi marching, attention fell upon the statues that honour those involved in America’s Civil War.
Of course the number one response to calls for removing those statues is the same one we saw here in SA – you can’t erase history, and variations thereof.
You can still legally wave that old flag around, of course, although you’re making it pretty obvious that you’re a racist tosser – exactly like our own old South African flag and those who insist on displaying it.
