Theresa May looks like one of those vultures from The Jungle Book come to life.
How about this for a Boris Johnson / May double act?
We’re being silly, but the truth remains that the Prime Minister’s speech yesterday at the Conservative party conference in Manchester was a complete nightmare.
It actually started rather incident-free, as May “laid out her party’s future, announced new policies and responses to hot issues like the Grenfell Tower fire and Brexit”.
She even cracked a few jokes at her own expense, but then it all went south.
Comedian Lee Nelson pranked her by publicly handing her a P45 form (the form handed to workers to signal an end in employment), and it unravelled from there.
