Ever since the awful trailer for that Lifetime movie dropped, the Pistorius family has been raging.
If you haven’t yet taken a look at what Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer has to offer, you can do so HERE.
Looks like a pile of steaming shite, but it’s a Lifetime movie so what else can you expect?
Anyway the Pistorius family is fighting back and taking legal action. First up the statement via QZ:
“The ‘film’ was made with blatant disregard of both the Steenkamp and Pistorius families, as well as complete disregard for Reeva and Oscar. Neither Oscar, the defence or the family were involved in the production of this ‘film’ in anyway,” Pistorius said.
He added: “The ‘film’ is not true reflection of what happened on the day of this tragedy and the subsequent trial of the matter. The ‘film’ is a gross distortion of the findings of the court. Oscar was subjected to a month long psychological evaluation which was insisted upon by the prosecution; the psychological evaluation of Oscar was undertaken by leading minds in the field. Oscar was subjected to in depth assessments and on-going tests almost daily for a month long; at no stage was Oscar found to have the mind of a killer.
“The ‘film’ is a gross misrepresentation of the truth. The ‘film’ is rather a representation of what the prosecution tried to portray. We will be taking legal action,” he said.
All that legal stuff aside, how about the official statement tweeted out by Carl:
We’ll get in a little closer on that letterhead:
Sorry, are you running a car dealership or something? What’s up with that Porsche font, and do you really need to pop your family crest in place of the ‘O’?
You feeling ill yet? No, but because I know you’re lazy and you didn’t click that link for the trailer here it is below:
If the letterhead doesn’t make you ill those awful attempts at a South African accent should do the trick.
