For the third year in a row, Amber Rose and her posse walked down the streets of Los Angeles in the effort to reclaim the word “slut”.
Dressed as Captain Save A Hoe, Rose welcomed hundreds of defiant folk to participate in the protests hosted by The Amber Rose Foundation, reports Mashable.
Over the past three years, the foundation has honed in on a very specific aim: to take back ownership of the word “slut”, empower people, and end rape culture.
Those in attendance participated in the OPENed: Women’s Conference, which featured panellists and workshops dedicated to addressing social issues and gender based injustices.
