Imagine, for a second, being 17 years old and winning £1 million.
There’s no telling what kind of bad life choices I’d make, but I reckon current me wouldn’t fare much better.
Sure, I’ll have a punt on the €163 million (R2,5 billion) taking place at 8PM tonight our time. You can buy right now over HERE – even if you’re living in South Africa.
A cool R2,5 billion sure does give you some wiggle room on the bad decisions front.
In the case of now 21-year-old Jane Parks we don’t have to imagine, though, because back in 2013 the then-teenager won her EuroMillion prize with what she claims is the first ticket she ever bought.
Since then? Well, here’s the Mirror:
Jane went from an £8-an-hour temp in Edinburgh to splashing on holidays, designer clothes, a boob job, an op to make her bum larger and a Range Rover.
Last year, she even sent her ex Connor George on a lads’ outing to Ibiza with a list of 20 rules.
She sold the Range Rover, sprayed purple to match her beloved Hibs’ away strip, because it was too bulky.
It comes after Ms Park was slapped with an 18-month driving ban after admitting being three times the legal limit at a McDonald’s drive-thru.
She reportedly flogged the plush 4×4 for £14,995 after originally paying £18,000 for it.
Can someone have a word? At least she’s killing in on Instagram, because her account has just ticked over the 40 000 follower mark.
You’ll need to head to her Instagram HERE and wait for approval. As you can see we are still in limbo – be kind to us, dearest Jane.
Britain’s youngest ever jackpot winner could be about to leverage that following with another massive payday. She is rumoured to be on the list for the next Big Brother, with producers desperate to get her on board, and it’s also being reported that film execs are keen to turn her story into a movie or TV show:
Unlike the first movie makers, they see Jane’s story as very dangerous. A normal girl with a happy life, becoming the focus of begging and jealousy, blackmail and bribery attempts and risks such as being kidnapped.
I guess there is hope for us all.
Roll the dice and buy a ticket HERE.
