Everyone loves to pick apart every Trump statement, trying to unlock the tactics behind the Twitter rant or decode the power play he is pulling, but often it’s clear that he is just plain stupid.

Sometimes you can put people’s ignorance down to their lack of access to information, but Donald has grown up with a diamond-encrusted spoon in his fat mouth.

He was reading from a written speech when he called Namibia ‘Nambia’, twice. Way to show you care, big guy.

We should also mention some of the other stirring words Trump delivered to the assembled African leaders during that lunch, with this via CNBC:

[He] was met with silence when he congratulated the leaders of African countries on the continent’s economic progress, telling them, “I’ve so many friends going to your countries, trying to get rich. I congratulate you. They’re spending a lot of money.”

…while Trump almost certainly meant it as compliment, and even seemed to pause for applause, not one attendee clapped.

Congrats, foreign countries and friends of Trump are still super keen to exploit your natural resources for financial gain.
