The two South African teams ousted from Super Rugby made their European debuts over the weekend, with the first round of the PRO14 kicking off, although things didn’t exactly go to plan.
The Cheetahs were up against Ulster in Belfast, and the Irish outfit ran in six tries on the way to a convincing 42-19 win.
It didn’t help that two Cheetahs players, flank Henco Venter and prop Johan Coetzee, received yellow cards.
