There are thousands of reasons to criticise Donald Trump, and Melania isn’t exempt either.

Sure she never wanted the job of FLOTUS, but when you marry for money sometimes you have to take the bad with the good.

Here’s the thing – when you pick on the trivial things, like the shoes she wears when she heads to Texas to see the effects of Tropical Storm Harvey, you start to look silly.

Some of the criticism she received via the Washington Post:

“How out of touch can you be?” one tweet read. “I wouldn’t normally comment on Melania’s shoes but I’m not sure if this is what you wear to go meet ppl who’ve lost all of their belongings,” read another.

An article in Vogue called the snakeskin heels “better suited to a shopping afternoon on Madison Avenue or a girls’ luncheon at La Grenouille” and “footwear that is a challenge to walk in on dry land.”

We agree, the White House is a disaster zone, but focus on the stuff that matters and leave the silly shoe nonsense alone.
