Arg, it’s here.
After releasing her lyrical music video on Friday, Taylor Swift announced that the real music video would be released at the MTV Video Awards on Sunday night – and that it was.
Of course, reactions to the video were mixed.
While it’s clear it’s all about revenge, not only is it a super weak diss track, but you don’t need to bully others in return. You see, coming from someone who has spoken out about being bullied in the past (2010 on The Ellen DeGeneres Show), it’s just not a good look.
TayTay, you’re 27.
However, ‘Stans’ of T-Swifticles helped her break some records, as the lyrical vid – watch it here – took the crown for getting the most views on YouTube in 24 hours (19 million), reports TIME.
Anyway, here’s “Look What You Made Me Do” in all its narrative journey glory:
How boring? I too would very much like to be excluded from this narrative.
While there are a whole lot of speculations regarding who Tay-Tay is targeting in the song (Katy Perry, Kanye West, Beyonce), this is the best part; if the track sounds vaguely familiar, watch this beauty:
So, @taylorswift13's #LookWhatYouMadeMeDo kindof reminds me of something. Wait for it… pic.twitter.com/oC8RnBFsfQ

Yup, that’s a real sample, explains TIME:
[T]he similarity between the two catchy pop songs is not unintentional. Swift has included Right Said Fred in the song’s credits, according to the NME, which say that ‘Look What You Made Me Do’ contains “an interpolation of a melody” from ‘I’m Too Sexy.’
Need a dynamic hook for the ultimate revenge song?
Who ya gonna call?
Right Said Fred. Obviously.
