Will the ‘Dare to Dream’ superyacht concept revolutionise world travel?
That’s what CNN is asking.
The brainchild of Monaco-based yacht designer George Lucian, the 140 metre superyacht is also an airship carrier, inspired by military vessels.
Targeting “visionaries”, the owner would ideally be passionate about yachting and flying, and would “like to be able to explore new places by enjoying the calmness and elegancy of an airship”.
Lucian must have got the blimp idea from Archer.
According to Yacht Harbour, the concept is designed in such a way that:
[B]esides all the amenities that the superyacht would offer, the airship itself is able to accommodate a couple of guests, and host a saloon for dinners/cocktails/relaxation. The airship is expected to be around 100m, whilst the yacht would measure 140m.

Lucian explained that:
My concept is inspired from the yachting industry and military vessels design, but also from the fascination that I have for the beginning of the century zeppelins that were transporting passengers across the Atlantic in an luxury and romantic manner. Nowadays we have lost this elegancy and tranquillity of travelling that the cruise liners and airships were offering in the beginning on the 21 century. My concept wants to give these feelings back to its future owner
I wonder if the blimp will be filled with helium.
