You might not instantly recognise the name Dr. Grigory Rodchenkov, but if you’ve heard about the Russian doping scandal over the past few years his story is one you want to hear.

That’s not him above, in case you were wondering, but we digress.

The most elaborate and co-ordinated doping regime of all time hit the headlines in May 2016, when the New York Times laid bare just how dirty the Russians had been playing.
