The Simpsons might get the most street cred for their cartoon takedowns of the Donald (HERE and HERE are my favourites), but they were still pretty late to the party.
The original gangsters are those who write Sesame Street, the kids show that has been poking fun at the Orange Menace for three decades.
A little ahead of the curve, their first real zinger took place all the way back in 1988. Not that subtle when the baddie is called Ronald Grump, right?
Anyway here are the three best gut punches the kids show has landed:
Always a fan of the petty rebuke, one of his early moves as POTUS was to announce plans to end the public television funding that created Sesame Street.
