Last Wednesday saw a disgusting attack at a KFC in Montana, Pretoria, with six men assaulting a couple.
It is reported that the husband and wife had requested the men to move forward in the drive-through, which led to the men physically attacking and assaulting the couple.
According to Police Minister Fikile Mbalula, the men behind the attack “were repeat offenders who targeted black people in the area”.
First up here’s the incident:
According to Times LIVE, four of the six men have been arrested:
Police spokesman Captain Kay Makhubele said the police were looking for two other men believed to be involved in the assault…
The men allegedly attacked Jacob Sono and his wife Dudu Sono after Jacob Sono asked them to move forward in the queue.
Mpho Sono filmed the incident, which was shared widely on social media.
“The suspects are repeat offenders, who have made it their mission to torment the country,” Mbalula said.
Makhubele said three of the four suspects were denied bail on Friday because they had given false addresses to the police.
“They have previous convictions of assault against them. Some of the cases are pending,” Makhubele said.
Those already in custody will face charges of assault and pointing a firearm. In terms of the Firearms Control Act‚ a person convicted of pointing a firearm may be sentenced to a maximum 10 years in jail.
Let’s just hope they find those other two chaps, who can join their vile mates behind bars.
