This year’s J-Bay Open has come and gone, Brazilian Filipe Toledo (above) beating out the likes of local lad Jordy Smith on his way to the title.
With some cracking waves in the final few days, attention shifted away from those shark drive-bys (HERE and HERE) and back onto the competition itself.
We’re not going to show you highlights of the final, though, because lets get a little artsy instead.
Filmmaker Jackson O’Brien has put together a short video called “EIGHT DAYS IN J’bay” over on Vimeo, and it’s one most surf fans are going to enjoy.
Featuring Mick Fanning, Julian Wilson, Conner Coffin, Jordy Smith, Kolohe Andino, Kelly Slater and John John Florence, there’s also plenty for those familiar with J Bay and the surrounding areas to enjoy.
Aweh.
By the way, if you do want highlights from the final day of the J Bay Open you can head over HERE.
