If you’ve reached this point of Trump’s presidency, as we nudge past the six-month mark, and you still have an ounce of respect for this man then please look away now.

We are dealing with the most self-serving disgrace for a president modern America has ever seen, yet he somehow manages to raise the bar on lowering the bar almost on the daily.

This time he has gone ahead and banned transgender people from serving in the military. That’s disgraceful all on its own, but here’s a leak from inside Trump’s administration on why he has really made this call:

“This forces Democrats in Rust Belt states like Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin, to take complete ownership of this issue. How will the blue collar voters in these states respond when senators up for re-election in 2018 like Debbie Stabenow are forced to make their opposition to this a key plank of their campaigns?”

That’s all it boils down to – scoring points with conservative voters who, ironically enough, place such a premium on the honour that comes with defending one’s country.

It stinks, and Trevor knows it:

America dropped the ball electing this buffoon, but watching Republicans talk him up like some kind of patriot has crossed over into the disgusting.

The ‘yeah but Hillary’ train has long since left the station – grow up and judge Trump, the draft dodger, on his ever lengthening list of morally reprehensible decisions.
