Someone was having a pretty terrible day, and it looks like this incident was breaking point.
Fergus Beeley, one of the producers behind Sir David Attenborough’s acclaimed documentaries, had a full-blown meltdown after an altercation along the M27 near Portsmouth, Hampshire.
Beeley tried to put Simon Gales’ family under citizen’s arrest, according to the Daily Mail, after both cars were forced to pull over at the side of the motorway:
Mr Gale said the family were driving on motorway when a car from the inside lane attempted to pull into the middle lane – and ended up colliding with their car.
He said: ‘This car pulled across into our lane and hit our car – our whole car moved and we almost got knocked into the outside lane.
‘We pulled over to the side of the road and my wife got out of the car to exchange insurance details with this woman – I didn’t really think anything of it at the time.
‘Then Fergus Beeley pulled up behind us in a different car and started screaming and shouting at us.’
He really loses his shit, screaming ‘get ready to die’ at one point.
Of course there’s some bad language in this video below:
I feel like this video could really benefit from a classic David Attenborough voice over. Close your eyes and imagine the voice…
“And here, in the streets of Portsmouth, Fergus shows his true colours, suffering the kind of meltdown that might see his career end up in the toilet.”
