Will Smith might have slowed down a little on the movie front, aside from those upcoming cash cow Bad Boys movies, but this one looks like it could prove very popular.

It’s not every day you see big Willy in a movie featuring fairies, orcs, elves and other mystical creatures (aliens, sure), but there’s more to Bright than just the fantastical.

Set in a world where mystical creatures live side by side with humans, Smith is forced to work with an Orc to find a weapon everyone is prepared to kill for.

Look away now, fans of fairies – there’s a rather grim start to this trailer:

The film will premiere on Netflix December 22.
