When weather reports came through last week about the storm expected to hit Cape Town over the weekend, you might have found yourself a little sceptical, especially after the disappointing performance on #DikWednesday.
But then the cold front the weather service was tracking all week delivered what was expected, and we have some footage to prove it.
Not only were there cold temperatures and bucketing showers, but there was a sprinkling of snow in mountainous areas of the Western Cape and Eastern Cape on Sunday, too.
Even Table Mountain, which sits at just 1 085m above sea level, got a dusting of snow, reports Traveller24.

Wait for it…there’s more!
Pretty cool, hey?
Although snow on Table Mountain is nothing new, it has been a while.
You can check here for more footage of snow from around the country, and remember to please stay warm – it’s going to be a chilly week.
