People Are Saying That The UFC 214 Promo Video Is The Best One Yet

UFC isn’t really my jam, but after watching the promo for the UFC 214 showdown between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones I think I can make an exception.

There’s plenty of history to this one, most of which revolves around Jones being stripped of the light heavyweight championship title after being involved in a hit-and-run incident in 2015.

Cormier and Jones were meant to square off last year at UFC 200, but the latter was removed from the billing after testing positive for banned substances Clomiphene and Letrozole.

Basically their fight has been a long time coming, and the trailer manages to drum up the drama to great effect:

Should be about as bloody as watching the Poms dismantle the Proteas batting line-up at Lords.

UFC 214 will take place on July 29, so I guess we will know if the fight can live up to the hype soon enough.
