What you chose to wear on your feet while playing sport not only impacts your overall performance, but is generally chosen depending on what position you play.
Right?
While most shoes are created with each specific position’s needs in mind, PUMA chose to challenge that notion and released their latest football boot design – which incorporated features players in every position can use.
Known as the PUMA One football boot, the shoe’s design addresses the needs of all players packed into one boot, reports Kicks On Fire.
To perfect it, the company chose to work with Atletico Madrid’s forward, Antoine Griezmann, as well as youth academy players and football obsessed teens.
Sorry Man United fans, you won’t be seeing Antoine rocking them at Old Trafford – yet.
Back to why the boots are so revolutionary:
PUMA discovered they wanted a boot that had a great fit, helped them move fast and gave them more feel on the ball.
For the final touches, PUMA brought in Thierry Henry (va va voom) to make extra sure the boot catered to every type of player.
Thanks to all those professional insights, PUMA was able to “deliver a football boot focused on fit, fast and feel”:
Fit comes from the engineered evoknit sock; fast is provided by the ultra lightweight pebax outsole and feel is enhanced by the soft leather that adorns the upper.
So whether you’re a tough-tackling defender or a swift-footed striker, the PUMA One boot can now reflect the perfectionist in everyone.
For me, a non-football fan, the best thing to come out of this campaign was the photographs. Featuring Hector Bellerin and Griezmann debuting the boots, check this out:

The boot will be released worldwide at the end of this month, so pop over to your local PUMA store to get your footie game on point.
