For the past decade, Tony Greenhand has become famous for rolling joints and blunts in “pothead-friendly shapes and colours,” reports Rolling Stone.
But these just aren’t any shapes and colours.
Since the first time I saw a joint that wasn’t rolled into a regular cone shape in Pineapple Express (yes, yes, it was that infamous cross joint), the marijuana industry has evolved, especially in the States.
The pot-smoking culture has grown along with it, Instagram becoming the platform for sharing beautiful buds, plants and, well, Greenhand’s epic creations.
Dropped every few weeks, Greenhand gifts photographs of his mind-blowing smokable art to his fans through his Instagram account, racking up a whole lot of likes from his 261 000 followers (and counting).
Some creations are so big they contain about $10,000 worth of weed. Can you even.
So how did it all begin? From Rolling Stone, Greenhand’s journey to success:
Greenhand started growing and breeding pot as a teenager, which is why he always has more than enough bud lying around to fill his spectacular creations.
By the time he started posting shots of his work online, about five years ago, he had practiced and perfected his technique and equipment such that he can make a smokeable version of pretty much anything.
I happened to be in Oregon recently, and met up with Greenhand and his girlfriend Courtney, a lip-pierced photographer who is Instagram famous in her own right…
A few years ago, Courtney won a contest through Greenhand’s Instagram for a custom pre-roll. He made her a smokeable rose, and when they met up at a High Times event so he could give it to her, sparks flew.
Soon after, he moved from Washington to Oregon to be with her, and now they are something of an unstoppable force: forming brand partnerships, running a cannabis seed company, broadcasting their adventures, planning events and looking forward to the day when weed is federally legal.
Oh, to be Instagram famous.

I told you they were epic.
Then, there’s this video below of a few people toking on ‘The Kraken’:
Wowzers.
Scrolling through his Instagram, it’s cool to see just how dedicated Greenhand is to the cause, and following him will surely light up your feed in the future.
